Looking for a CPA Accountant role where your financial expertise directly contributes to business performance and strategic decision-making? If you have a strong accounting background, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to turn financial data into meaningful insights, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a broad range of accounting and financial responsibilities. You’ll work closely with senior management, contribute to budgeting and forecasting, ensure financial accuracy and compliance, and help drive better business results through informed financial analysis.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This CPA Accountant position is built for an experienced accounting professional who combines strong technical knowledge with analytical thinking and sound business judgment. The role covers the full accounting cycle, from maintaining accurate financial records and overseeing accounts payable and receivable to preparing financial reports, supporting payroll and budgeting processes, and monitoring tax-related matters. You’ll also play an important role in identifying opportunities to improve financial performance, strengthening accounting processes, and providing management with clear insights into the company’s financial position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will organize, maintain, and update financial records across digital and physical systems, ensuring information remains accurate and complete.
  • You will analyze financial transactions and prepare accurate reports and financial analyses as required.
  • You will support payroll processes, including tracking, entering, and allocating employee hours.
  • You will conduct regular, detailed audits of financial documents, expenditures, and investments to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
  • You will forecast revenue and analyze profit margins to support business planning and financial decision-making.
  • You will oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • You will participate in budgeting processes and contribute financial insights to support effective resource planning.
  • You will prepare monthly and annual financial reports, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements, as well as additional analysis requested by management.
  • You will regularly brief senior managers on the company’s financial position, performance, and key financial developments.
  • You will analyze financial results and recommend practical solutions and improvements to help strengthen business performance.
  • You will liaise with Tax Accountants to track tax payments, returns, and other tax-related requirements.
  • You will respond to accounting and tax-related issues, ensuring they are addressed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • You will develop and implement effective accounting policies, procedures, and processes to improve financial control and operational efficiency.
  • You will monitor bookkeeping activities regularly and ensure accounting records are maintained to the required standards.
  • You will stay up to date with relevant industry developments, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.
  • You will ensure accounting practices remain aligned with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable regulations.
  • You will maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive company and financial information.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Certified Public Accountant, CPA, or Senior Accountant.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial procedures.
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  • Proven experience using accounting software; knowledge of QuickBooks and Zoho is an advantage.
  • Excellent English proficiency, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • High level of integrity and demonstrated ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
