Job DescriptionDetermines technical feasibility by evaluating requirements and analysis as well as proposed solutionsPrepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programmingEnhances existing solutions to match client requirements byconfiguring and customizing software using Actimize software, SQL and other technologiesTests and approves software solutions, configurations and customizationsProvides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.Utilizes software engineeringtools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development processCollaborates and adds value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestionsProvides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniquesPerforms technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problemsServe as a mentor to less experienced software engineersEstimate level of effort, evaluate new options of similar technology, offer suggestions to improve processes, and provide comments on some design aspectsApply a sense of urgency, commitment and focus on the right priorities in developing technical solutions in a timely fashionReview product and/or application information including manuals and brochures for technical accuracyDocuments and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, diagrams, clear code and commentsQualificationsStrong hands-on .NET experience (+2 years)Web Technologies: strong hands on JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, Webservices/APIs, XML, XSLDatabases: MS SQL and/or Oracle.
