Join our Bogotá team as a Technical Support Engineer. Do you have what it takes to deliver total client experience and satisfaction? Do you speak English at an 80% level or higher? If you meet the following requirements, APPLY NOW!!

Technical Support Engineer in this role get to: Resolve Customer problems via the telephone, the web or other support channels.

Technical skills: Leverage internal technical expertise, including higher-level engineers, knowledge base, and other internal tools, to add to knowledge base to provide solutions to customer issues. Create new knowledgebase articles to capture new learning for reuse throughout the center.

Good communication skills: Participate in technical communication within the Technical Support Engineering team to learn about new technologies and complimentary storage applications. Gain knowledge and expertise through hand-on experience, self-study, and through a variety of learning environments. Initial focus is on learning our client´s proprietary operating system, and troubleshooting hardware issues. Some opportunities, after training, to work on small volumes of Top Enterprise Accounts and Premium cases

Knowledge of Widows Registry, File system, Windows Client, Windows OS, user profiles and security and server-based software.
Familiar with networking protocols and OSI levels from 2-7 and hardware. Network protocols, Switches, Hubs etc…
Ability to debug, how to read debug and what it means.
Understand Performance Monitoring tools such as OnCommand
Understanding and working knowledge of data protection are backups, restores, disaster recovery. mechanisms involving local snapshots
Virtualization concepts - Hypervisor and/or VMWare ESXi - PreferredClouds fundamentals - AWS, Google Cloud and MS Azure – Preferred
