Responsibilities:
? Implementation of Occupational health subprograms such as preventive medicine, industrial hygiene and security.

? Determine health and safety goals and strategies for the company ensuring that they meet all fiscal, strategic and legislative requirements.

? Ensure that all governmental legislation is being followed at all times and in all facilities.

? Assist in conducting inspections of the workplace ensuring safety standards are met and being enforced consistently.

? Manage investigation and reporting of health and safety incidents and hazard assessments.

? Maintain a strong knowledge of legislative changes that are upcoming in order to pro-actively begin implementing and developing procedures.

? Monitor and review workplace accommodations and return to work programs.

? Review job site safety compliance inspections including hazard analysis, safe work procedures and write reports and recommendations.

? Direct and review the analysis of accident and injury data, identifying the needs for new or modified occupational safety programs.

? Provide training to managers and others on occupational safety issues.

? Coordinate training events in the fields of promotion and prevention with the Administrator of Occupational Risks and other allied institutions.

? Responsible for overseeing and administering the employee benefits program at a company such as health insurance and retirement plans.

? Planning, organizing and directing the activities related to group health, group life, dental, vision, flexible fringe benefits and student athletic insurance programs.

? Coordinating work flow and procedures between Employee Benefits and other departments.

? Coordinating the acquisition of medical, dental, vision insurance coverage and flexible fringe benefit programs

Formación Profesional grado superior
